MySQL Consulting & Support

Reliable MySQL for the Applications You Depend On

MySQL runs everything from customer websites to internal line-of-business systems. Our specialists tune, upgrade, replicate, and migrate MySQL on premises or on Amazon RDS, Aurora MySQL, Azure Database for MySQL, and Google Cloud SQL.

What We Deliver

Where We Make the Difference

MySQL tends to run quietly until slow queries, replication lag, or an unsupported version turns into an urgent problem. We find the real bottlenecks in InnoDB and your SQL, fix them in order of impact, and put a supported, highly available setup in place.

01

Query and InnoDB Tuning

We read slow query logs, Performance Schema, and EXPLAIN plans, then tune indexes, queries, buffer pool size, and redo log settings for your mix of reads and writes.

02

Replication and InnoDB Cluster

We design asynchronous replication, Group Replication, or InnoDB Cluster with MySQL Router, giving you read scale and automatic failover matched to your availability needs.

03

Upgrades to Supported Releases

We move MySQL 5.7 and 8.0 systems to the 8.4 LTS release, checking deprecated features, SQL mode changes, and authentication plugins before production is touched.

04

Moves to Managed MySQL

We migrate MySQL to Amazon RDS, Aurora MySQL, Azure Database for MySQL, or Google Cloud SQL, using replication-based cutovers that keep downtime short.

Our Approach

How We Deliver MySQL Consulting & Support

  1. Step 1: Measure Before Changing

We capture performance metrics, slow queries, replication health, and configuration, building a baseline that every later change is measured against.

  2. Step 2: Rank the Fixes

We list tuning, schema, upgrade, and architecture changes by impact and risk, and agree on the order of work with your team.

  3. Step 3: Change in Small Steps

We apply changes one at a time, confirm the effect on performance, and quickly roll back anything that does not help.

  4. Step 4: Keep It Monitored

We set up monitoring, alerting, and backups with point-in-time recovery, then provide ongoing support or knowledge transfer to your team.

FAQ

Common Questions

Something we did not cover? Ask us directly.

How should we plan an upgrade from MySQL 5.7 or 8.0?

We target the 8.4 LTS release, since the older versions no longer receive regular updates. Before upgrading we run the MySQL Shell upgrade checker, test the application against changed defaults, and rehearse the cutover.

When should we consider MySQL HeatWave instead?

If heavy reporting queries are slowing your transactional database, HeatWave can run them on a separate in-memory cluster. For standard application workloads, a well-tuned MySQL server or managed MySQL service is usually enough.

Can you support MySQL databases we already run?

Yes. We start with a health check, then provide tuning, incident help, or ongoing remote support, depending on what your team needs.
