Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Consulting

Automate Approvals, Routing, and Handoffs Across Your Systems

Azure Logic Apps is Microsoft's platform for automating business workflows and orchestrating systems in the cloud. Our consultants use it to automate approval chains, route documents, exchange B2B and EDI messages, and coordinate processes that span Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and your line-of-business applications.

What We Deliver

Where We Make the Difference

Many business processes still depend on email chains, shared folders, and someone remembering to update the next system. Logic Apps can automate those steps with little custom code, but production workflows still need proper error handling, security, and deployment discipline. We design for all three from the start.

01

Approval and Document Workflows

Purchase requests, invoices, contracts, and onboarding packets move through multi-step approval chains automatically, routed through SharePoint, Teams, or email with escalations when a step stalls.

02

System-to-System Orchestration

Event-driven workflows coordinate Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Service Bus, and your ERP or CRM, so a change in one system triggers the right updates everywhere else.

03

B2B and EDI Exchange

Integration accounts handle X12 and EDIFACT messages, trading partner agreements, and AS2 or SFTP transfers for supply chain and retail partners who still trade by EDI.

04

Built to Run in Production

Retry policies, dead-letter handling, correlation IDs, and Azure Monitor alerts make failures traceable, and we choose Standard or Consumption hosting based on volume, latency, and network isolation needs.

Our Approach

How We Deliver Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Consulting

  1. Step 1: Map the Process as It Runs Today

We walk through each workflow with the people who run it, documenting triggers, approvals, exceptions, and the systems involved before choosing connectors and patterns.

  2. Step 2: Set Up a Governed Foundation

We configure environments with private networking, managed identities, Key Vault secrets, and CI/CD pipelines so workflows are versioned and deployed like any other code.

  3. Step 3: Build and Test Against Real Endpoints

Workflows are built iteratively and tested against real systems, including timeouts, rejected approvals, and malformed documents, before anything reaches production.

  4. Step 4: Monitor and Hand Over

Azure Monitor dashboards and alerts track failures and slowdowns, and every workflow is documented so your team can support and extend it confidently.

FAQ

Common Questions

Something we did not cover? Ask us directly.

Should we use Logic Apps or Power Automate?

Power Automate suits workflows owned by business teams inside Microsoft 365. Logic Apps suits IT-owned, high-volume, or system-to-system processes that need source control, private networking, and enterprise monitoring. Many organizations use both, and we help draw the line.

Standard or Consumption: which plan do we need?

Consumption bills per action and fits lighter, occasional workflows. Standard runs on dedicated hosting with virtual network integration and more predictable cost for steady volume, and we model your expected load before recommending one.

Can Logic Apps reach our on-premises systems?

Yes. The on-premises data gateway, or virtual network integration on the Standard plan, lets workflows reach databases, file shares, and applications inside your network without exposing them to the internet.
